Open Banking (via authorised providers)
We use Open Banking to allow you to securely connect your bank accounts to the app.
When you choose to connect an account, you are redirected to your bank or an authorised Open Banking provider, where you give permission for your account information to be shared with 118M8. This may include transaction data, balances, and account details. Your sensitive security information such as passwords, PINs, or full card details is never shared.
We, along with our authorised partners and providers, use this information to deliver app features such as spending insights, account aggregation, and personalised trends.
Open Banking services are provided by regulated third-party providers in accordance with UK law and industry standards. Access to your data depends on the availability and performance of these external providers.
You always remain in control. You can:
- Choose which accounts to connect
- Withdraw your consent through your bank or within the app
- Reconnect accounts where access has expired
RevenueCat (Subscription Setup and Management)
We use RevenueCat to support the setup of in-app subscriptions.
When you choose to subscribe, RevenueCat helps facilitate the initial setup and validation of your subscription within the app. Your payment is then processed by your app marketplace provider (such as the Apple App Store or Google Play Store).
Once your subscription has been set up, ongoing billing, renewals, and cancellations are managed directly through your app marketplace account.
RevenueCat does not process payments itself but supports the functionality needed to enable subscriptions within the app.

We may work with additional partners to support features and services within the app. All partners are required to comply with applicable UK data protection and financial regulations.
